History & Profile

With over eighty years of dedicated service to the community, Iligan Light and Power, Inc. has modestly grown and developed in its operations and business, and currently ranks 9th among the 17 largest private utilities in the Philippines. Power is delivered by NPC through NGCP to Kiwalan (Kiwalan S/s) and Pugaan (Pala-o and Luinab S/s) circuits at 69 kV while Overton (Overton S/s) is drawing power at 13.8 kV. Reserve substation capacity is equivalent to 135% of present load in anticipation of more loads in the near future and considering that energy sales is growing at an average of 8% per year.
